Office Administrator

Frame of Mind Films, a non-profit media company, is hiring an OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR to join our team in our West Berkeley office. Successful candidates are unflappable, and in possession of common sense with a passion for organization.

Time Commitment:

2 days/week. 9-5pm. By May 2019 we hope this position will expand to 4 days/week.



Commensurate with experience.


Responsibilites Include:

  • Mobilize and track various projects & maintain organizational systems;
  • Schedule meetings; manage travel itineraries;
  • Ensure office systems are fully functional, anticipate and handle office supplies ordering;
  • Library and internet research;
  • Order lunch when needed and provide general support to visitors

Required Skills:

  • At least 2 years of experience as an Office Administrator or Executive Assistant;
  • Technical excellence with Apple computers and basic IT skills;
  • Familiar with current software and technology, such as Microsoft Office, FileMaker Pro, email tools; spreadsheets, databases (FileMaker), teleconferencing, etc.;
  • Touch typing 50 wpm;
  • Track record of successful project management;
  • COPY EDITING a plus

  • Highly organized, with an eye for detail and a knack for creating and improving efficient systems;
  • Flexible working style conducive to a sometimes fast-paced environment;

  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion;
  • Patience and a sense of humor;
  • An appreciation for film

About Frame of Mind Films:

ROSEMARY RAWCLIFFE brings more than forty years of experience to Frame of Mind Films. After cutting her teeth at the BBC, Rosemary founded a successful production company in London that produced television programs as well as advertisements for major corporations. After many years of commercial success in the United Kingdom, Rosemary began her search for more spiritually fulfilling work. That search led her to America and the founding of Frame of Mind Films. The first major project for Frame of Mind Films was the Women of Tibet series which explores the role of women in Tibetan society. The films in the series —A Quiet Revolution and The Great Mother— received an Emmy, seven Telly Awards, and numerous other distinctions. Currently Frame of Mind Films is in various stages of production on several documentary film projects as well as developing a narrative feature film.
