Photo Library/Picture Editor

Frame of Mind Films, a non-profit media company, is hiring a PHOTO LIBRARY/PICTURE EDITOR for 1 day a week to manage our extensive photographic library at our film production office in West Berkeley.

Time Commitment:

1 day/week. 9-5pm.



Commensurate with experience.


Responsibilites Include:

  • Photo library management and excellent image work flow;
  • Post-processing, including color correction, retouching, restoration etc.;
  • Photo editing for web and print;
  • Image selection for publications and insert stills for our films;
  • Brainstorming and developing unique & creative photography projects.

Required Skills:

  • Mastery in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and Aperture/Photos;
  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro would be a bonus;
  • Aesthetic sensibility, with a "good eye" for composition, framing, etc.

ROSEMARY RAWCLIFFE brings more than forty years of experience to Frame of Mind Films. After cutting her teeth at the BBC, Rosemary founded a successful production company in London that produced television programs as well as advertisements for major corporations. After many years of commercial success in the United Kingdom, Rosemary began her search for more spiritually fulfilling work. That search led her to America and the founding of Frame of Mind Films. The first major project for Frame of Mind Films was the Women of Tibet series which explores the role of women in Tibetan society. The films in the series —A Quiet Revolution and The Great Mother— received an Emmy, seven Telly Awards, and numerous other distinctions. Currently Frame of Mind Films is in various stages of production on several documentary film projects as well as developing a narrative feature film.
